Marriage Proposal Ideas

Saturday, April 18th, 2009

Hey Guys. Adam here. I’ve been getting a lot of emails from people asking me where I get all these great marriage proposal ideas from. So I have a confession to make. I didn’t necessarily create these ideas on my own. I actually got them from an ebook a friend of mine recommended. The name of the book is “The Romantics Guide to Popping the Question” by Michael Web.

This book is pure genius. That’s the only way to put it. It’s the kind of book I wish I had thought of writing because the guy who wrote it didn’t have to write one word of it.

So let me explain briefly.

Michael Webb was on Oprah. Maybe you saw the episode. Anyway, they ran a contest for people to submit their best marriage proposal ideas. I know, sounds crazy, but that’s what he did.

Well, they got over 7,000 stories submitted from all over the world. And what Michael did was put the best 101 in this book. I would so love to tell you what some of these amazing ideas are but I can’t. You’re just going to have to read the book. But I promise you, never in a million years will you think of some of this stuff to use to propose and I promise you that if you use just ANY of these on your fiancé that you’ll have her speechless.

Here is a quick link to the book: Click Here

Some of my favorites are the ones that involve almost no expense at all. If you’re on a budget, you will want to read these first. There are even proposals that were made by women. So if you’re a woman, you will also get something out of this book, though quite honestly, it is more focused towards men.

But here is the main reason why getting this book is a no brainer. This poor guy had to go through over 7,000 stories just to find 101 that were worth putting into this book. Can you imagine how much research time that just saved you? The time alone is worth the price of the book. It would have taken me an eternity to find some of these stories.

But Michael doesn’t stop there. He also gives you a 30 minute phone consultation to help you prepare your proposal. This guy must live on the phone. It’s obvious he loves what he does.

At the very least check out the site below and see what he’s offering.

Ideas For Marriage Proposal

Saturday, April 18th, 2009

Another great marriage proposal idea is to take her someplace where she’s never been before but has always wanted to go. Make it a surprise for as long as you can hold out. Then, when you get there, on the very last night, just before you’re ready to go home, you present her with a “souvenir” from their trip. When she opens it up, inside she’ll find, along with whatever other items you have in there, her engagement ring. She’ll eat it up and she’ll never see it coming.

Finally, tell her that you want to play Deal Or No Deal. She’ll look at you like you’re kind of whacked at first but eventually she’ll say sure. What you do is tell her that she has to let YOU pick the box. Now, inside the box that you pick is going to be her engagement ring, except she doesn’t know that. And you have to do everything you can to try to get her to give up the box. The more you push, the more she’ll want to keep it until finally she opens it and finds her engagement ring. That’s when you take it out, put it on her finger, and say, “Will you marry me?”

Give one of these a shot. Or, check out the link in my signature for more great wedding proposal ideas.

Marriage Proposal Ideas - a Killer Idea

Saturday, April 11th, 2009

So, you want to propose marriage to your sweetheart but you don’t want to do the same old tired, “down on one knee at the restaurant” routine. Well, fear not. In this post, I’m going to share unique marriage proposal ideas that will have your sweetheart remembering this day for the rest of her life. If anything, she may remember it even more than her wedding day. Keep reading to find out what they are.

This is probably one of my favorites. It’s a little off the wall, but it’s truly one that is unforgettable. It WILL take some planning however. Essentially, what you’re going to do is arrange one of those mystery weekends. You know, where everybody acts out a part in a play to find out who the “killer” is. Except in this play, you arrange to have your proposal to your bride to be come at the end of the skit. Make sure there is dramatic music played by a string orchestra to go alone. Yeah, it’s right out of a movie. She’ll love it.
